Premier Behavioral Health Center for Military-Connected Youth
For 90 years, The Barry Robinson Center has been improving the lives of children and families. The Center offers a residential treatment program for military-connected youth with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Youth, ages 11-17, from military-connected families will find a supportive community here. Our treatment programs have been designed to help children and teens from military-connected families find understanding and acceptance, which contributes to their success in treatment. Many of our employees served in the military, and we are committed to training all employees in military lifestyle and culture.
The Center provides a holistic environment that sets youth and their families on the path to healing. Our staff includes qualified and compassionate therapists, teachers, counselors, doctors, nurses, and dietitians. Our open college-like campus on the border of Norfolk and Virginia Beach, Virginia, combines modern residential facilities with several original colonial-style buildings dating to 1933. This combination makes it one of the most beautiful and unique residential treatment centers in the region.
